TO CANCEL TOUR

The greatest living composer, Burt Bacharach -- who underwent back surgery over Christmas causing his March concert dates to be rescheduled to November -- has now sadly announced he is still not able to travel to New Zealand in November to perform in his two planned concerts.

The ultra cool, Grammy award winner was rushed in to hospital to have emergency back surgery over Christmas after injuring himself while working in Italy on a new musical. It had been hoped that he would be able to resume his touring commitments after a six month postponement.  

However, doctors have now declared that his back has not fully healed and that he is unable to travel for an indefinite period.  This has forced the music icon to cancel all touring engagements until further notice.  

Dates will be rescheduled as soon as his doctors give the all clear. In the meantime, we have cancelled the November tour rather than inconveniencing ticket purchasers any further.     

Fans who purchased tickets to his Auckland and Christchurch concerts should contact their ticketing agents immediately for a full refund.
